Queensway Mark Lodge No 1331 History

Queensway Mark Master Masons Lodge No 1331 was formed in Liverpool on 5 May 1967. It met at the Exchange Hotel until 1971 when it moved to The Masonic Hall in Hope Street. In 1997, it relocated once again to the Masonic Hall at Prescot where it remains to this day.

The name “Queensway” is most likely derived from the Queensway Tunnel, a road tunnel under the River Mersey connecting Liverpool with Birkenhead. The tunnel portal is used on the Queensway Crest.

The lodge meets twice a year on the first Friday of the months of May and September (installation), but does occasionally hold emergency meetings if the need arises.
