Alan with the Master (left) and John Whalley

Prescot Lodge has recently initiated two new Masons, Brother Alan Campbell was initiated by the acting Master John Whalley assisted by a number of acting officers. Alan was conducted by the Senior Deacon Leo Kap acting as Junior Deacon, assisted by Norman Lay of Lodge of Loyalty 86 who had generously agreed to act as Senior Deacon for the evening.

Alan was an excellent candidate in every way and is sure to prove an asset to the Lodge, he has already shown a keenness to take part in the work of the Lodge and enjoys his participation.

In both these ceremonies the charge to the initiate was delivered by one of the Lodges most senior and highly respected members Ralph Dumbell acting as Senior Warden, Ralph’s skill in delivering ritual is well known throughout the group and province and he delivered the charge in his usual inimitable manner.

Terry is the Brother of Daren who is Leo’s Brother in Law and is also a more distant relative of John Whalley so the Lodge seems to have the beginnings of a family Dynasty. Terry’s light hearted attitude to life is sure to be an asset to the Lodge and his response to the toast to his health at the festive board was well received by the Brethren.
